Because I am living in London I am trying to squeeze as much into one day as possible. But the V&A deserves a day all by itself. The exhibition on modern British design made me really happy. Lots of beautiful stuff, but more importantly perhaps, leather mustache key rings.

The sun has come out finally, and is beginning to promise a beautiful season! Shame I am working on the winter hats.

Lots of news!

Last week I moved down to LONDON -oh yes, feel free to freak out and do a little dance, but save some energy because it gets better.

I am spending the next 5 months working for Yvette Jelfs, who is a major milliner. I am absolutely loving my time here, enjoying all the museums and the exhibitions – if you are around then please please go visit the British design exhibition in the V&A. I am also getting really into wearing hats- and will endeavour to take some photos so that I can show you soon.

In the mean time- enjoy this little beauty which I made bespoke for a client who is pretty damn awesome. The bird is real- shot and eaten by Yvette herself, and sewn by moi! Modelled by Bethany, who works with me in our girl-cave.

At the moment I am on the train to go start my new internship in London! Finished the year at Uni on Monday and I start working with Yvette Jelfs on Tuesday so that is very exciting.

Manchestaaaa

I'm staying in Manchester with the LEGEND that is my best friend Laura Precious, which means I really feel no need to wear my own clothes at any point because she has so many beautiful things. Score. Last night to go out I dressed entirely in her clothes, today I wore my Cheap Monday Jeans and my trusty superdry cowbadboys, along with her blazer, top and necklace.

My family have a little house in Boat of Garten, which is in the middle of nowhere in Scotland and always leaves me feeling inspired and relaxed. The main attraction- other than the beautiful scenery- is the big roaring fire and a large supply of novels.
