Manchestaaaa

I'm staying in Manchester with the LEGEND that is my best friend Laura Precious, which means I really feel no need to wear my own clothes at any point because she has so many beautiful things. Score. Last night to go out I dressed entirely in her clothes, today I wore my Cheap Monday Jeans and my trusty superdry cowbadboys, along with her blazer, top and necklace.

My family have a little house in Boat of Garten, which is in the middle of nowhere in Scotland and always leaves me feeling inspired and relaxed. The main attraction- other than the beautiful scenery- is the big roaring fire and a large supply of novels.

Yellow Bag

Solange Knowles is a "big supporter of the day-time clutch". Well, I have to say, I am not. This morning I tried it out with this yellow number from new look. Because I am excessively bad at prioritising I transferred all these little letters onto it to spell my name BEFORE I actually physically got out of bed.



Unfortunately, I have decided that although clutch bags are great for going out, there is no way I could fit all the crap I need to carry around for Uni in it. Also the little letters all fell off.

Bad times.

Bad-ass buttons

SO I got a bit creative and bleached these shorts all BLOTCHILY (its my word, don't you dare steal it) and then sewed a gazillion buttons onto them. I've been wearing them basically solidly for the past two weeks.

Uni is getting a little bit too easy right now- lots of my projects have finished up already so I am left with FAR too much free time. So when our internet cut out last week this is what I got up to! Some portraits on the theme of 3D glasses. You can probably tell that I had quite a bit of photo-shop-happy-fun with it.

Voting is Sexy

I really really love this advert for my University union elections. How better to appeal to a bunch of fashion students? I am not sure if it deliberately looks into feminism, but it certainly combats the ideas of the suffragettes as frumpy and feminists as women who don't wear bras or shave their legs.
